Tips & Tricks – Low Light Focus
Hi all, as part of our continuing efforts to improve & develop, we will once again be sense checking / auditing your iAuditor reports.
Something that has been noted across the board is an increase in blurred images, or even images showing the floor / your shoes etc!
I’m no photographer, but I believe one of the reasons for this is the way low light (early mornings / late nights / interior pics) can effect your cameras – it often takes a second extra to focus meaning the image is being captured as you are moving to the next position.
Can we all please just take a second to review your photos & retake any that are blurred – Sod’s Law denotes that the one blurred image out of all you take will be exactly where an area of damage will be!!
Whilst on the subject of photos, if you are in an area of bad signal, please ensure that all of your photos have uploaded fully to the report before deleting them from your phone.
The way to check this is to look at the bottom right corner of your photos, when they are uploading they show a white circle that slowly turns blue, and then turns into a green tick before disappearing.
As long as you have the photos on your phone, when you move into a better area of signal (or get on Wi-Fi) all you need to do is go back to the report, press “EDIT” and then leave the report open on your phone for a couple of minutes.
